Nick Castle Talks Playing Michael Myers with T.J. Storm in ‘Halloween’ Video Game
Michael Myers is coming to your home to stalk your consoles in 2026, and he will once again be played by the original Shape actor Nick Castle, as well as actor and stuntman T.J. Storm, working together to bring The Shape to life in the new officially licensed Halloween video game.
After the recent reveal that Nick Castle put on a motion capture suit to deliver the iconic walk, movements, and kills as only the original Michael Myers could, today brings the reveal that Castle worked along side T.J. Storm (Under Wraps 2) to play The Shape in the upcoming Halloween video game.
In an interview on the game’s official site, of reprising his iconic role, Castle said, “Well, it did make me go watch the movie again to see just what the hell I did that contributes to the success of the character. The folks creating the game wanted the character to be as authentic as possible and I did my best to capture the original movements. It was fun to do and I had a great time with the team.”
On the video game, Castle commented, “With the team I met and the fact that John and Malek and all are on board I have high hopes that the game will be something the fans will enjoy,” jokingly adding, “and keep them busy until…Halloween 14.”
When asked about what it was like to work alongside Storm, Castle said that he was a, “real sweetheart. Very professional and takes his job seriously,” also adding that T.J. is a great listener and incorporated Nick’s suggestions into his work. You can read the full interview here.
Nick Castle of course first played The Shape in John Carpenter’s 1978 original Halloween, and then reprised the character in cameo appearances in 2018’s Halloween and 2021’s Halloween Kills, performing Michael’s breathing in all three of the most recent films.
With Malek Akkad producing and John Carpenter as executive producer, Halloween will be published by IllFonic, co-published by Gun Interactive, in partnership with Compass International Pictures and Further Front, coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Game Stores in 2026.
