‘R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead’ Halloween Movie Premieres on Tubi October 2025

A feature adaptation of the same-titled episode from the iconic author’s TV series The Haunting Hour, the new Halloween movie R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead is coming to Tubi this October.

Written and directed by Jem Garrard (Slay), the cast of the Tubi Original feature film includes Bean Reid, Adeline Lo, Kevin McNulty, Bob Frazer, Matty Finochio and Seth Isaac Johnson, as first reported today by The Hollywood Reporter.

The story “centers on teenage Sam, whose family’s move to Redhaven is made worse when his brother Finn disappears — and no one else remembers that he existed. Sam joins friend Becka and eccentric Rusty in the race to find Finn and break a harvest curse before Halloween ends.”

“There’s something rotten inside these pumpkins — and it isn’t pumpkin meat!” R.L. Stine himself says of the new film. “I’m so happy to see one of my most terrifying Halloween stories brought to chilling life in this new movie.”

R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead will premiere exclusively on Tubi on October 17.
