Halloween Home Invasion Witch Movie ‘The Heretiks’ Set to Film Early 2026
A new Halloween-set, witch-themed horror movie is about to go into production, as the first details of The Heretiks have just been unveiled.
Bleiberg Entertainment is teaming up with director Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead, Siren) to produce the feature film The Heretiks, from writers Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, whose credits include Hulu’s Hellraiser remake, Searchlight’s The Night House, and 2025’s She Rides Shotgun, as first reported by Deadline.
The project is described as “a supernatural home invasion horror-thriller about a disaffected teenage girl who must team up with a renegade witch to protect her little sister from a murderous coven hellbent on using her as a human sacrifice in an apocalyptic ritual on Halloween night.”
Ehud and Ariel Bleiberg are producing through their namesake banner, along with director Gregg Bishop, Brad Miska (Terrifier 3), and Chris White (Backrooms).
Production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with the film to be shot in Bishop’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting discussions are currently underway.
