[Interview] Absinthe Green Talks ‘Of Love And Pain’, Horror, and Halloween

Absinthe Green is the latest metal artist to join the Halloween Daily Podcast for a conversation on her debut album Of Love And Pain, horror inspirations in her music videos, and more.

The new album fuses many different genres and musical influences, from old school crooning to an angry but always poetic marriage of metal and punk, all of which we discussed in our exclusive one on one interview.

In a our video conversation last week, we also talked about Green’s own experience almost joining Dogma, and why she decided to speak out about it after former members of that band alleged mistreatment and manipulation from Dogma’s management in a huge ongoing story that first broke in late 2025.

And of course we talked Halloween, as Absinthe tells us that she is a lifelong horror-loving goth kid at heart, whose earliest exposure to Halloween growing up in Greece was through American horror movies, but who quickly found her tribe with which to celebrate All Hallows’ Eve.
