[Interview] Ghoulish Productions’ Esteban Esponda on Family Business, and Halloween 2026
We recently sat down with Esteban Esponda, owner and general director of Ghoulish Productions, for a look back on his family’s 70-plus-year history in the Halloween industry, Halloween 2025 trends and surprises, a preview of what is coming from Ghoulish in Halloween 2026, and more.
In our video conversation last week, we also discussed Ghoulish Productions being the big winner at the recent Spooky Awards industry honors presented at the annual Halloween & Party Expo, winning four awards (more than any other company), and of course we talked about what Halloween itself means to Esponda, which could not be personal than a family built on making masks and costumes, continuing to the next generation, as his own daughter was born on October 31.
