[Interview] Brandon Christensen Talks ‘Bodycam’ Found Footage Horror, and Halloween
Director Brandon Christensen‘s Night of the Reaper was one of our favorite Halloween movies of 2025, and he is already back with his next horror film, the found footage Bodycam, which premieres on Shudder this week, and talked to Brandon again recently about the origin and evolution of this latest project, and more.
In our video conversation last week, we also of course talked more about Halloween, as Christensen shared his earliest Halloween memory, and more, in a welcome return visit to the Halloween Daily Podcast after our initial conversation in 2025 around the release of Night of the Reaper.
In Bodycam: “When two police officers show up to investigate a domestic dispute, a startling escalation leads to a tragic accident. Not wanting to be crucified by the public, the officers attempt to cover it up – only to reveal that their body cameras aren’t the only things watching them.
Directed by Brandon Christensen (Night of the Reaper, Still/Born, Z, The Puppetman)Â from script he co-wrote with his brother Ryan Christensen, the film stars Jaime Callica, Sean Rogerson, Catherine Lough Haggquist, Angel Prater, and Keegan Connor Tracy.
Bodycam premieres on Shudder this Friday the 13th of March.
