Guinness World Record Set for 254 People Dressed as Michael Myers

History was made today, as the new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Michael Myers was officially set at 254 at the PAX East event in Boston, where the highly anticipated Halloween video game‘s first ever gameplay has been unveiled.

The official number required to make it into the Guinness World Records was 250, and now the new number to beat in order to break the record in 254.

The record attempt was organized to coincide with the Halloween video game’s massive presence at PAX East, happening this weekend in Boston, where fans have been given the first opportunity to play a demo of the game.

The Halloween video game will be released on September 8.
