  • Damian (Mexico; 15 min.) – NORTH CAROLINA PREMIERE – A vampire obsessed with a mysterious woman named Roxana, finds the chance to become her into the eternal, while for Roxana the grief and pain of her lost family will take her life down another path, carrying devastating consequences. [MATURE]

  • Game Over (8 min.) – NORTH CAROLINA PREMIERE – Reality is skewed in this surreal psychological thriller from director, J. Amanda Sabater – featuring an ALL-female cast and crew. Grace awakens in a cell shared by fellow-captive, Lucy. The plot unfolds through a series of disconnected flashes, as Grace struggles to understand her circumstances. It’s time to play.
  • The Reckoning of Darkness (27 min.) – NORTH CAROLINA PREMIERE – The sole survivor of a shipwreck washes ashore on an island at the extreme north of the British Isles. The survivor, Victor, is restored to health by the local inhabitants but guards the secrets of his haunted past and of an evil which has found its way to this remote world, hell-bent on vengeance. So starts the dramatic and violent chain of events in which the tale of Victor’s sinister experiments gradually emerges.

  • Beyond the Scream (Documentary; 11 min.) – Showcase Selection filmed partly on the Outer Banks – A film crew starts an epic trip across the country to promote their film Scream Until You Like It. The 29 hour drive to Kill Devil Hills, home to the Halloween International Film Festival, has its own adventure of strange occurrences. Three people stuck together for over 1,300 miles in a vehicle. The festival destination itself… is an experience.
  • Mara (5 min.) – Bereaved parents struggle to find a new normal after the death of their daughter, but one of them has become convinced that she is still with them.

6:00 – Blood of the Mummy (Filmed in NC, partly on the Outer Banks; 1:38) – The Mummy’s Curse has plagued Louise since the horrific deaths of her parents during their discovery of the tomb of Princess Ananka over two decades ago. Now, a mysterious stranger has entered her life who may be the key to finally ending it. But, first she must reach into the dark, distant depths to face who she really is and learn the origin of the curse… [MATURE]

One of the girls separates from the group to return home through the lonely streets of the city and someone follows her.
  • Wicken – (Dubai; 8 min.) – A young woman Skyping with her long distance boyfriend late night realizes that an ancient evil presence may have been unleashed upon her.
  • She Summoned Him (U.K.; 8 min.) – WORLD PREMIERE – A journalist finds herself interviewing a strange guest at a local hotel. As the interview progresses, the interviewee begins to reveal a deadly secret.

  • Mirror Midnight (Italy, 6 min.) – On Halloween night, a teenager reads an ancient legend: if you walk backwards with a lighted candle up to a mirror, you can see in the reflection, the face of the man who will love all life. But be careful: the ritual must be performed with the full moon and during the twelve strokes of midnight.
  • Momo (Italy; 28 min.) – WORLD PREMIERE – Inspired by the homonymous urban legend. It’s Halloween night and the teen Rossana is home alone watching memories of her beloved father. A stranger named Momo contacts her via whatsapp, offering to help her overcome loneliness. From that moment on, Rossana’s life will change radically.
