‘Victor Crowley’s Hatchet: Halloween Tales’ Comic Returns to Honey Island Swamp
Writer/director Adam Green has announced a new comic book, Victor Crowley’s Hatchet: Halloween Tales, featuring three original stories from Honey Island Swamp set on the best day of the year.
Played by Kane Hodder in four films, starting with 2006’s Hatchet, Victor Crowley’s origin story centers on a particular fateful Halloween night, so it’s great to see this new comic exploring other Halloweens in the life of the horror icon.
In “Following” writer Jason Pell (Beware The Witch’s Shadow) shows us that heartbreak can lead to a fatal outcome.
Novelist S.A. Check (Volcanosaurus) delivers the doomed destiny of a circus troupe attempting to add Victor Crowley to their freakshow in “In The Company Of Freaks”.
And in “Gourd To Death” horror author James Kuhoric (Freddy vs Jason vs Ash) delivers a Halloween monster mash of bloody revenge.
As a bonus Halloween treat you’ll also enjoy several holiday themed activities in the vein of Hatchet.
Five variant covers are available, which you can see below.
Each 32-page comic purchased through ArieScope comes autographed by Hatchet creator Adam Green and is shipped bagged and boarded.
Victor Crowley’s Hatchet: Halloween Tales #1 will be released on October 9, 2019. You can order it here.
