Kyle Richards Offcially Returning as Lindsey Wallace in ‘Halloween Ends’
Filming of Halloween Ends is set to begin in January, and we now have official confirmation that Kyle Richards will once again reprise her role as Lindsey Wallace in the 2022 sequel.
Lindsey was among the legacy characters from John Carpenter’s original 1978 Halloween that were brought back in Halloween Kills, where she was one of the very few survivors.
Variety reports today that Richards has signed on to officially join the cast if Halloween Ends, adding that after she earned a positive reception from fans in Halloween Kills, the script was rewritten to incorporate Lindsey in Halloween Ends, “crafting an expanded storyline for her return.”
“When my character didn’t die, I was like, ‘Uhh, hello!’” Richards tells Variety. “The last movie, I saw Jamie on the set, but we didn’t have stuff together. So I’m really hoping that there is more stuff together.
“I can’t talk about any storylines, but all I can say is that we start filming in January, and I’m so excited to return with Jamie Lee Curtis and David Gordon Green.”
Producer Jason Blum tells Variety, “We are thrilled that Kyle will be reprising her role in Halloween Ends. The return of iconic characters in Halloween Kills was really important to David Gordon Green, and he took great pains to bring back the original actors when he could.”
In an Instagram post, which you can see below, Jamie Lee Curtis welcomed Richards back to Haddonfield, saying, “A perfect partner for the end 🎃f the trilogy!”
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to play Laurie Strode once again, along with Andi Matichak as Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson.
James Jude Courtney will once again play The Shape/Michael Myers.
Halloween Ends will arrive in theaters on October 14, 2022.
Expect more casting news soon, as we near the start of filming in January.
