Scout Taylor-Compton Joins Tyler Mane at Haunted Screams Expo 2020 [Exclusive]
Halloween Daily News can exclusively reveal that Scout Taylor-Compton will join her Halloween 2007 co-star Tyler Mane at the 2nd Annual Haunted Screams Expo this September in Hampton, Virginia.
Compton, who also starred in The Runaways, Ghost House, April Fool’s Day (2008), and the ABC series Nashville, among many other credits, of course played Laurie Strode in writer/director Rob Zombie’s 2007 Halloween remake and its 2009 sequel Halloween II, where she faced off against Tyler Mane as Michael Myers. Scout and Tyler will be joined by fellow Halloween franchise alumni Lew Temple (The Walking Dead, The Devil’s Rejects, 31). also of Halloween 2007, and Tom Proctor (Guardians of the Galaxy), of Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.
The full lineup for this year’s Haunted Screams Expo also includes Art the Clown himself, David Howard Thornton (Terrifier, Terrifier 2), as well as Sharon Smyth Lentz (Dark Shadows), Kevin Kangas (Fear of Clowns, Terrortory), and Monique Dupree (House of Hardcore), with more guests to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Haunted Screams Expo is hosted by Laitram Tsol, an original horror character on the convention circuit, and will feature two haunted houses on site, a charity raffle, 100 vendors, a makeup effects contest (see 2019 highlights here), and costume contests for kids and adults (see 2019 highlights here). New health and safety procedures will be in place for the event, including mandatory face masks/coverings, required social distancing, and sanitization stations.
The 2nd Annual Haunted Screams Expo takes place September 19-20, 2020 at the Hampton Roads Convention Center in Hampton, Virginia.
