Fear is Spreading in ‘Smile 2’ Teaser Trailer
An unexpected hit in theaters in 2022, Smile unleashed a new kind of monster that wears people like a Halloween costume (read our review here), and today brings our first look at the sequel in the official teaser trailer for Smile 2, arriving in theaters this Halloween.
In the sequel, about to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (played by Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events. Overwhelmed by the escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to face her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.
Once again written and directed by Parker Finn (as was the original Smile and the short it is based upon), Naomi Scott stars in Smile 2, along with Kyle Gallner (Smile), Rosemarie DeWitt (The Staircase), Lukas Gage (The White Lotus), and Dylan Gelula (Dream Scenario), alongside Raúl Castillo (Army of the Dead), and Miles Gutierrez-Riley (The Wilds).
Smile 2 opens in theaters on October 18.
