Throwback Trailer: ‘Night of the Demons’ (1988)
In keeping with the popular social media trend of “Throwback Thursday” (#TBT), we will from time to time take a moment to focus on the classic trailers, posters, and promotional items from some of our favorite Halloween-themed movies, TV shows, and more, continuing today with a flashback viewing of the original home video trailer for the classic Night of the Demons (1988).
Introducing audiences to one of our favorite horror icons in the seductive, possessed Angela, played to perfection by Amilia Kinkade (read our interview here), the film tells the story of the ultimate Halloween party from hell, featuring a hot young ’80s cast, a kickass modern rock (for its time) soundtrack, and some truly gruesome practical makup effects.
Night of the Demons is absolutely one of my favorite Halloween movies, and an annual must-watch every October. What do you think of the film?
