It’s that time of year again when the mad geniuses at Trick or Treat Studios begin previewing their upcoming catalog, and today’s sneak peak officially confirms a new Michael Myers mask coming in 2016!
According to today’s Facebook post, this new Halloween II “Hospital Mask” (pictured above) is based on a famous backlot photo of Dick Warlock in the H2 mask when it appeared extra stretched out.
In an interview earlier this year, Trick or Treat Studios president Chris Zephro told us (read it here) to expect a new Michael Myers mask from the original 1978 Halloween coming in 2016, so don’t be surprised if we get a few more Myers related announcements in the next few weeks.
UPDATE: In response to a question on Facebook, Trick or Treat Studios has now stated they have “decided to go in a different direction” and that there will not be a new H1 mask in 2016, adding, however, that there will be two more Michael Myers masks to be announced for next year.
Trick or Treat Studios has also recently revealed first look sneak previews of other masks to be included in their upcoming 2016 catalog, including Chucky from The Bride of Chucky (pictured below).
