Mad Monster Preps Killer Party for Charlotte 2016
Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, and the godfather of the Dead will join Boba Fett, Colossus, and an amazing gathering of genre icons at the 5th Annual Mad Monster Party in Charlotte, North Carolina this March.
In addition to previously announced guests including P.J. Soles and Tony Moran from John Carpenter’s Halloween, legendary director George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead, etc.), Boba Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch (The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi) and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange) and Dee Wallace (E.T., The Howling) from Rob Zombie’s Halloween, the most recent announcement adds the voice of Deadpool‘s Colossus, Stefan Kapicic making his first ever convention appearance.
Horror icon Linda Blair (The Exorcist) was also recently confirmed, as well as the great Tom Savini (Dawn of the Dead, From Dusk Till Dawn), James Duval (Donnie Darko), Adrienne King (Friday the 13th), Derek Mears (Friday the 13th 2009), Bill Moseley (House of 1000 Corpses, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Louis Tripp (The Gate), William Butler (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3), and Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas).
Additional guests include Eva Bella and Livvy Stubenrauch (the voices of young Elsa and Ana from Disney’s Frozen), pro wrestlers Chyna and Al Snow, Arrow villain Manu Bennett, Mutilator writer/director Buddy Cooper, Friday the 13th composer Henry Manfedini, musicians Nivek Ogre and Wednesday 13, Land of the Dead zombie Eugene Clark, and the stars of What We Do In The Shadows Don Brooker, Jonathan Brough, Ben Fransham.
UPDATE 1: William Katt (Carrie, House, The Greatest American Hero) will also join the Party!
UPDATE 2: Night of the Living Dead writer John Russo has been added to the lineup of guests!
UPDATE 3: Dee Wallace will be appearing on Saturday and Sunday only.
UPDATE 3: Ace Van Johnson (Faster Pussycat) and former Headbanger’s Ball host Riki Rachtman just confirmed! Rachtman will be a guest on Saturday only.
UPDATE 4: Arrow star Manu Bennett has cancelled his appearance.
UPDATE 5: Lt. Uhura herself, Nichelle Nichols of Star Trek is also beaming up to Charlotte!
UPDATE 6: The Casket Creatures and V is for Villains will take the stage live in concert on Saturday night!
UPDATE 7: Paul Sorvino has cancelled is appearance due to filming.
UPDATE 8: Dave Sheridan (The Devil’s Rejects, Scary Movie) and pro wrestler Buff Bagwell are officially added to the lineup!
