‘Dead By Daylight’ Horror Game Coming To Consoles

The popular horror-themed video game Dead by Daylight – in which both Michael Myers and Laurie Strode from Halloween were introduced as playable characters last fall – is coming home to gaming  consoles this year.

Starbreeze AB and Behaviour Digital announced today that they have agreed to bring Dead by Daylight to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in digital format later this year.

Released on PC in June 2016, Dead by Daylight has already sold more than 1.8 million copies on the digital distribution platform Steam and became an instant favorite with streamers on Twitch and other streaming platforms.

A release date and pricing has not been announced yet.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game in which one crazed killer hunts four friends through a terrifying nightmare. Players take on the role of both killer and survivors in a deadly game of cat and mouse. It is currently available on Steam.

As we previously reported, Michael Myers and Laurie Strode of John Carpenter’s 1978 film Halloween joined the Dead by Daylight as playable characters in October of last year.

If you’re on Steam, you can purchase the Halloween update here.
