‘Hatchet: Victor Crowley’s Halloween Tales II’ Comic Announced

Writer/director Adam Green has announced a second volume of his comic book series, Hatchet: Victor Crowley’s Halloween Tales II, featuring three new original stories set on the best day of the year.

Played by Kane Hodder in four films, starting with 2006’s Hatchet, Victor Crowley’s origin story centers on a particular fateful Halloween night, and this anthology comic series, which began in 2019, explores what the horror icon was up to during other Halloweens at Honey Island Swamp.

In “Witch Way To Honey Island Swamp,” Green himself tells the story of three witches trespassing on Victor Crowley’s home turf, while writer Jason Pell (Beware The Witch’s Shadow) chills you with “Dimitri Fought A Bear,” and splatter/horror veteran author James Kuhoric (Freddy vs Jason vs Ash) caps it off with the tragic tale of “Weed.”

As in the first volume, horrific holiday fun pages are back with a bloody vengeance, featuring more themed activities in the vein of Hatchet.

Three variant covers are available, including “Main” by Roy Allan Martinez, “Carved” by Richard Bonk, and “Racy” by Mike Wolfer, each priced to reflect the rarity of the cover, all of which you can see below.

Each 32-page comic purchased through ArieScope comes autographed by Hatchet creator Adam Green and is shipped bagged and boarded.

Hatchet: Victor Crowley’s Halloween Tales II will be released on Sept. 30, 2020, and you can order it here.
