‘Peanuts’ Gang Celebrates Halloween Again on ‘The Snoopy Show’
After the animated classic It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown did not air on network TV in 2020 for the first time in decades, the new Apple TV+ series The Snoopy Show has the Peanuts gang celebrating Halloween once again.
On Episode 3 of the The Snoopy Show, entitled “The Curse of a Fuzzy Face”, Snoopy goes to a scary movie with Woodstock, advises Charlie Brown on his Halloween costume, and also gives tricks to kids instead of treats, according to the official site.
The episode premiered on Friday, Feb. 5, making it the first Halloween episode to land on TV (streaming or otherwise) in 2021, with WandaVision soon to follow with its own Halloween episode this Friday (Feb. 12) on Disney+.
Apple announced in October 2020 that its streaming service is the new home for all of the Peanuts holiday specials, including The Great Pumpkin., which has previously aired on network television – originally on CBS and more recently on ABC – every October for the last 54 years, since it first premiered in 1966.
The Snoopy Show is streaming now on Apple TV+.
