Mad Monster Party Returns to North Carolina Feb. 19-21, 2021

Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface and more are coming to the annual Mad Monster Party horror convention when it returns to North Carolina this month, Feb. 19-21, 2021, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

All COVID-19 health safety protocols will be in place, including reduced attendance capacity, temperature checks at the door, mandatory face masks at the show, one-way double-width aisles, social distancing (including exhibit tables), hand sanitization stations, and clear photo op dividers (not visible in the photos).

Guests attending the Party this year include Tyler Mane (Halloween 2007, Halloween II 2009, X-Men), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th VII-X, Hatchet), Dan Yeager (Leatherface in Texas Chainsaw 3D), Ed Neal (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre), Linnea Quigley and Amelia Kinkade of Night of the Demons, makeup FX legend Tom Savini (Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead, etc.), Terry Kiser (Weekend at Bernie’s, Friday the 13th Part VII), Andrew Divoff (Wishmaster), Zach Galligan (Gremlins), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), WWE pro wrestler The Godfather, and Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.

UPDATE: Damian Maffei (Haunt, The Strangers: Prey at Night, Wrong Turn) and North Carolina’s own Wednesday 13 have also been added to the guest lineup.

Events throughout the weekend include a costume contest, charity auction, film festival, Q&A panels, and professional photo ops, including Quigley and Kinkade in costume as their characters from the 1988 Halloween horror classic Night of the Demons.

The 10th Annual Mad Monster Party is happening Feb. 19-21 at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Concord, North Carolina.
