Mad Monster Expo 2022 Highlights [Video / Photo Gallery]

Mad Monster Expo returned to Concord, North Carolina in August, and we were there to capture all of the excitement for you.

Special guests included Dick Warlock (Halloween IIHalloween III), who was joined by Halloween franchise alums Tommy Lee Wallace (HalloweenHalloween III), Sandy Johnson (Halloween), Tom Atkins (Halloween III), Stacey Nelkin (Halloween III), and Dee Wallace (Halloween 2007). Warlock, Atkins, Nelkin, and writer/director Tommy Lee Wallace are reuniting at the event 40 years after the release of Halloween III.

Dee Wallace also reunited with her E.T. costars Henry Thomas and Robert MacNaughton at the event, and there will be also be a Killer Klowns from Outer Space reunion, including the Chiodo Brothers, Grant Cramer, Harrod Blank, Mike Martinez, and Suzanne Snyder.

Additional guests included Butch Patrick (The Munsters), John Kassir (Tales from the Crypt), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), Ted Raimi (Evil Dead 2), Ola Ray (Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”), Milly Shapiro (Hereditary),  Damian Maffei (HauntThe Strangers: Prey At NightWrong Turn), and, making their first ever convention appearance, the stars of the Predator movie Prey Dane Diliegro and Dakota Beavers.

The event took place August 26-28 at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Concord, NC, and Halloween Daily News is proud to have once again been a part of the Expo as official photographers and the only press authorized on the convention floor, in the celebrity panels, and at the annual costume contest.
