Wednesday 13 Channels Silver Shamrock in “Good Day To Be a Bad Guy” Video

Wednesday 13 released the official music video for his new track “Good Day To Be a Bad Guy” today, and it features some serious Silver Shamrock love.

The official video for “Good Day To Be a Bad Guy” follows three rowdy trick or treaters, each wearing one of the iconic Silver Shamrock masks from the 1982 sequel Halloween III: Season of the Witch, concluding with a straight-up homage scene inspired by the climax of the film.

Speaking about the track, Wednesday 13 said, “‘Good Day To Be a Bad Guy’ is one of my favorite tracks off the new album. This track definitely has an earlier Wednesday 13 sound to it, with the horror punk hammer in full swing and excessive use of the ‘F’ word. The video carries on with the horror movie theme with another tribute to one of my favorite films from the 80s, Halloween III: Season Of The Witch.”

The new song is from Wednesday 13’s upcoming album Horrifier, out this Friday, October 7, which also includes a track titled “Return to Haddonfield”, an apparent sequel to his song “Haddonfield”, inspired by John Carpenter’s 1978 Halloween, from the 2006 album Fang Bang.

You can watch the Silver Shamrock-themed official video for “Good Day To Be a Bad Guy”, and listen to “Haddonfield”, below.
