‘Haunt’ Sequel Conversations are Officially Underway

A sequel to the acclaimed 2019 Halloween-set horror film Haunt is in the earliest stages of development, according the first films’ writers and directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.

Beck and Woods (A Quiet Place) took part in a Reddit AMA recently to promote their latest movie 65, during which they were asked about the possibility of a Haunt sequel. They directly answered, responding, “Thanks for the support. We can confirm that conversations for a Haunt sequel are officially underway. Happy (early) Halloween!!”

Haunt was released in limited theaters and on VOD on Friday the 13th of September 2019, and has earned a loyal following of fans since premiering on Shudder.

The official synopsis: On Halloween, a group of friends encounter an “extreme” haunted house that promises to feed on their darkest fears. The night turns deadly as they come to the horrifying realization that some nightmares are real.
