Original ‘Halloween’ Novelization Returns to Print with New Illustrations

A reprinting of the long out of print official novelization of John Carpenter’s 1978 masterpiece Halloween has just been announced in celebration of this year’s 45th anniversary of the movie, and the new version will include dozens of all-new art illustrations.

Printed In Blood announced on social media yesterday (Michael Myers Monday), “We are reprinting the original, long out-of-print movie novelization in a new Artbook style format. The complete original text along with nearly 100 brand-new illustrations from vector genius, Orlando Arocena…. This 224-page volume is bursting with both classic and gorgeous new artistic visions of the John Carpenter horror classic.”

Two different versions are available, one featuring brand new cover artwork and the other featuring a recreation of the classic paperback cover art from the 1978 Halloween novelization.

There will be an exclusive cover available only until the H45 convention is over (October 1st).
