‘Halloween Returns’ Filming Date, Location Not Yet Determined

It seems that an earlier report of Halloween Returns beginning filming in Louisiana in July are premature, as Bloody-Disgusting is now reporting that they have updated information that filming for the much anticipated return of Michael Myers may not start until this fall.

The site further states that the filming location for the upcoming sequel has not yet been locked down.

The good news? Filming in the fall would certainly add an authentic autumn atmosphere to the movie.

Remember, the official press release regarding Halloween Returns stated that production begins in July, though that does not necessarily mean principal photography.

Plot details are not yet confirmed, but there are reports circulating that Halloween Returns will be a direct followup to the 1981 sequel Halloween II, this time focusing on the 18-year-old child of one of Michael Myers’ past victims, and the kid of former Haddonfield deputy Gary Hunt (originally played by Hunter von Leer), who is still obsessed with the Myers case.

No synopsis of the film has been officially released yet.
