[Interview] Alexandra Essoe and Richard Harmon Talk ‘Pitfall’, and Halloween
The new horror movie Pitfall recently landed on VOD, and we talked to genre favorites Alexandra Essoe (Starry Eyes, Doctor Sleep, Tales of Halloween) and Richard Harmon (Final Destination: Bloodlines, Trick ‘r Treat) earlier this week about what drew them to their characters, the horror tropes they leaned into or wanted to avoid, and more.
In our video conversation yesterday, we also of course talked about Halloween and how Essoe and Harmon feel about their earlier films – Tales of Halloween and Trick ‘r Treat, respectively – becoming annual October viewing traditions for so many of us.
In Pitfall: “A remote hiking trip turns deadly when a concealed trap leaves a young man severely injured and pursued by an unknown hunter.”
Directed by James Kondelik (Behind The Walls), the film stars Marshall Williams (The Ice Road, Exile), Alexandra Essoe (The Pope’s Exorcist, Midnight Mass), Richard Harmon (Final Destination: Bloodlines), and UFC Champion Randy Couture (The Expendables).
