New Michael Myers Movie ‘Halloween Returns’, Now Casting!

Michael Myers lives! There is new word via the internet this morning that Dimension Films has finally settled on a script and will shoot the new Halloween movie this year, now apparently titled Halloween Returns!

MovieHole breaks the news today that the new project will be a standalone film featuring a new generation of victims, set to reintroduce audiences to Michael Myers years after his initial rampage.

The report goes on to state that Halloween Returns will pit a new group of Haddonfield youngsters against Myers, as the now 18-year-old child of one of Myers’ victims plays a central role along with the child of a cop whose long been obsessed with Myers’ case, even putting it before his own daughter.

The site also reveals early tidbits of the plot, adding that Michael Myers is now on death row and the two kids with their own personal vendettas against the killer sneak in to watch his execution. But when things go awry and Myers escapes, the pair, along with their friends, find themselves in the firing line.

Casting is now underway.

Happy #MichaelMyersMonday!

What do you think of this breaking news? Who would you cast in Halloween Returns? It sounds like the “18-year-old child of one of Myers’ victims” must be Jamie Lloyd’s son Stephen from Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, but what do you think? Sound off in the comments!

Keep watching this site, as brings you the latest updates on the rebirth of Michael Myers in Halloween Returns!
