‘Hallowarrior’ Trailer Previews Post-Apocalyptic Halloween Horror
Halloween never ends, even after the apocalypse in our most anticipated film of the year, Hallowarrior, and today the official trailer has been released online, previewing what is destined to become annual October viewing.
Here’s the official synopsis: “Pumpkin, the last girl on earth and sole survivor of a humanity-ending plague, scavenges the wasteland for supplies on the eve of Halloween. Her lonely holiday ritual is interrupted by the arrival of a savage gang of raiders at her doorstep led by the fearsome Thalia. Outnumbered and armed with candy, wit and weapons, Pumpkin must ferociously fight back to survive the night.”
Milly Shapiro (Hereditary, Hysteria) stars as Pumpkin, along with Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight’s Tale, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Sinister 2) as Thalia, Ajani Russell (Betty), and A.J. Bowen (The Sacrament, You’re Next).
The film is written, directed, and produced by Ben Sottak, co-produced by Emmajane Hoffman and Gabriel Rosenstein.
Hallowarrior will premiere on Shudder on October 16, before its final screening as the closing film at our 7th Halloween International Film Festival on Saturday, October 24 on the Outer Banks, NC. (Tickets are on sale now here.)
