‘R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2’ Trailer Previews Cassandra Peterson’s Witch

Pumpkinhead 2 once again follows kids Sam (Bean Reid) and Becka (Adeline Lo) as a new curse awakens in Redhaven.

In the sequel, “While still struggling with the fact that his family doesn’t remember him — a consequence of stopping the harvest curse — Sam and his friend Becka begin to notice strange things around town. To get to the bottom of this series of unsettling occurrences, the duo reteams and, in the process, discovers there’s a new crop of cursed pumpkin entities, conjured up by an ancient ritual book, just like the one that nearly took Sam’s brother Finn (Seth Isaac Johnson). Their investigative trail leads them to the town sheriff (Bob Frazer), who was responsible for keeping the first child-stealing curse alive. He reveals to the duo that he stole the cursed book from a woman named Cassandra, seemingly a local who lives on the edge of the town’s forest, played by Cassandra Peterson.
