Watch ‘Halloween’ Retold As 8-Bit Cinema!

Get ready for a digital dose of Michael Myers in glorious 8-bit arcade form, as a new retelling of John Carpenter’s 1978 classic Halloween was released yesterday (Oct. 25, the 38th anniversary of the film’s theatrical release) in the awesome retro style of an early Nintendo game, in the latest edition of 8-Bit Cinema from CineFix.

Who would have thought that all of the killing in the landmark horror film could be interpreted as Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out?

Released on the CineFix YouTube channel, 8-bit Cinema “gamifies” your favorite Hollywood Blockbusters into ’80s arcade and NES inspired action.

Directed by Norwood Cheek with animation by Raz Mergian, and music and titles by Cheek, you can watch 8-Bit Cinema’s version of John Carpenter’s Halloween below!
