Saturday Night Live Celebrates Halloween 2016

This past weekend’s episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, hosted by Tom Hanks with musical guest Lady Gaga, might as well have been the official Halloween 2016 episode, with more than one sketch celebrating our favorite holiday.

In “A Girl’s Halloween”, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, and Vanessa Bayer portray three women celebrating Halloween together with no boys allowed. When the night begins, none of them expected to get their own version of The Hangover, but soon they’re flashing pedestrians in the street, getting into a semi-brawl with a pizza shop owner, and picking up a random guy (Pete Davidson) in Incredible Hulk body paint.

Tom Hanks also introduced a new character named “David S. Pumpkins”, as a couple takes a ride on a haunted elevator Halloween-themed attraction called 100 Floors of Frights, but it is more “Pumpkins” than they bargained for.

The third Halloween sketch of the night featured a family that is a little too eager to plan this year’s neighborhood Halloween block party.

Did you watch this weekend’s SNL? Which was your favorite Halloween sketch?
