Crank Up Jyrki 69’s “Last Halloween” Video

Jyrki 69 has just dropped the official video for the awesome new track “Last Halloween,” the first single from his upcoming solo album Helsinki Vampire.

The former frontman for the “goth ‘n’ roll” band The 69 Eyes, Jyrki 69 says (via Bloody-Disgusting), “There’s never enough anthem’s for Halloween and Halloween is every weekend you go to a Gothic club! So here’s something for the clubs’ dancefloors and so sing-a-long while getting killed by your favorite Halloween movie monster. Oh, that October 15 that I mention in the song? That’s my birthday! So guess my favorite month and season, haha…”

The song definitely pays homage to John Carpenter’s theme from the Halloween movies with an eerily familiar piano intro, and then references Michael Myers himself by name (as well as Freddy and Jason) in the lyrics.

Not surprisingly, the track will be used in the upcoming horror movie Halloween Hell House.

I’ll be adding this one to my Halloween playlist (which you can listen to on Spotify here).
