Following recent announcements that John Carpenter’s Halloween is getting a 4K Ultra HD release and its sequels Halloween II (1981) and Halloween III: Season of the Witch are getting 4K-scanned steelbook releases, now comes news from Rob Zombie that his 2007 Halloween is also getting a new steelbook release this October.

Rob Zombie posted the new steelbook packaging for his Halloween remake on Instagram on Saturday (Aug. 4), with a caption revealing a release date of October 2 2018.

Amazon currently has it available for pre-order for $25.00, but does not list any of the bonus features that will be included.
