It’s Vampires on a Ship in ‘Blood Vessel’ Trailer

Vampires attack on the high seas in the new independent horror film Blood Vessel, and the official trailer is here for you to sink your teeth into.

Set somewhere in the North Atlantic in late 1945, according to the official synopsis, when a life-raft lost at sea encounters an abandoned Nazi vessel, boarding the ship, they find a far more daunting enemy.

The film is directed by Justin Dix, award-winning special effects supervisor and director of Wicked of Oz studios, and co-written by Dix and Jordan Prosser. Dix has worked on such films as The Babadook, Lake Mungo, and Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, among many others.

Alyssa Sutherland (Vikings) stars, along with Robert Taylor (The Matrix), Nathan Phillips (Snakes on a Plane), Christopher Kirby (Daybreakers), John Lloyd Fillingham (Hunters), and Alex Cooke (Preacher).

Blood Vessel will be released on VOD platforms on July 21, from The Horror Collective.
