Howl-O-Scream Returns to Busch Gardens, Debuts at SeaWorld Orlando for Halloween 2021
Busch Gardens theme parks in Williamsburg, Virginia and Tampa Bay, Florida announced this week that their annual Halloween haunt event Howl-O-Scream will return this fall, and will also debut for the first time this year at SeaWorld in Orlando.
After pretty much all haunt events were either closed entirely or forced to adapt/downsize during the pandemic in 2020, it is exciting to see in-person Halloween attractions returning this year.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg has announced that Howl-O-Scream, when the park is transformed and haunted attractions take over after dark, is officially scheduled to take place on select nights starting on Sept. 12 and running through Halloween, Oct. 31.
Howl-O-Scream is an adult-focused Halloween event included with regular park admission, where guests can traverse through all-new haunted house experiences and scare zones, take their fears to new heights with thrill rides in the dark, and enjoy darkly entertaining live shows. Tickets are on sale here.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced that its own version of Howl-O-Scream will take place on select nights Sept. 10-Oct. 31, and it’s already been confirmed that there will be two all-new haunted houses unveiled in 2021, in addition to three returning haunted houses and a total of eight different scare zones. Tickets are available here.
SeaWorld Orlando will host it’s own version of Howl-O-Scream for the first time in 2021, with a more aquatic theme for its haunted houses and scare zones. Also running on select nights Sept. 10-Oct. 31, tickets are on sale here.
SeaWorld San Antonio is also hosting Howl-O-Scream on select nights Sept. 17-Oct. 31, and SeaWorld San Diego are also hosting their own versions of Howl-O-Scream in 2021, though their dates have not yet been announced.
