‘Terrifier 2’ Official Trailer Unleashes Art the Clown for Another Bloody Halloween

Terrifier 2 is coming this Halloween, and the full official trailer has just dropped online, along with the sequel’s release date this October.

The film will be opening in theaters nationwide on October 6, through Iconic Events, as first reported by Collider, who also shared the official trailer, giving us a small taste of the chaos and ultra-violence that will erupt in theaters when Terrifier 2 is released without an MPA rating.

Acccording Bloody DIsgusting, Terrifier 2 is “a sprawling follow-up that horror fans quite simply aren’t ready for. Art the Clown is more brutal than ever with Terrifier 2 delivering some of the most jaw-dropping kills we have ever witnessed.”

Writer/director Damien Leonne said, “The Terrifier team and its incredible fan base have always believed wholeheartedly in the franchise. After all, our goal was to create a horror film that was boundary-pushing, fresh yet old-school and demented as hell. After three arduous years of production, a global pandemic, and endless gallons of blood, I’m honored and excited to finally release Terrifier 2 in theaters. I know fans of this franchise, and the genre at large, are going to eat up Art the Clown in all his blood-soaked glory.”

The official synopsis for the sequel: After Art the Clown is resurrected by a sinister entity, he returns to the timid town of Miles County, where he targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween Night.

David Howard Thornton once again plays Art the Clown in Terrifier 2. The cast also includes Lauren LaVera as Sienna and Elliott Fullam as Sienna’s younger brother Jonathan, as well as Casey Hartnett as Allie, Kailey Hyman as Brooke, Sarah Voigt as Sienna’s mom Barbara, Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria, as well as Tamara Glynn and Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp). The film is written and directed by Damien Leone, who also serves as a producer.

Terrifier 2 is developed by Dark Age Cinema and Fuzz on the Lens Productions and features an original score by Paul Wiley. The film is produced by Phil Falcone, Steven Della Salla, Jason Leavy and Michael Leavy. Executive producers include Cairo Ben Amen II, Joshua Anderson, Steven Caruso, Lisa Falcone, Hank Greenberg, Marcus McGill, Larry Bilello, Thomas Smith, and Steven Barton.
