Dad Saves Halloween for Little Girl Stuck on Overnight Flight

Here at Halloween Daily News, we believe in celebrating Halloween every day, but even more than that, we feel that every child should especially be able to celebrate our favorite holiday and all of its traditions, which is why this recent story, of a dad who brought trick-or-treating to his daughter during an October 31st flight, warmed our hearts so much.

As reported by The Star, a three-year-old named Molly didn’t miss out on trick-or-treating even though she was stuck on a overnight flight from Boston to San Francisco with her dad.

According to the report, Molly’s dad dressed her as a doughnut and then passed out candies to all of the passengers on board the plane to give back to her on the night of October 31st.

Molly’s dad also gave each of the passengers an explanatory note which read: “Happy Halloween! My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her. If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her bucket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!”

That was enough to send passenger Stephanie Kahan gushing on Twitter (which you can see below), later reporting that Molly and her dad enjoyed a quiet second half of their flight. “I don’t know the dad’s name,” Kahan tweeted. “He’s currently taking what I can only assume is a much needed snooze.”

It was a simple gesture, but clearly this dad gets it when it comes to Halloween.
