The Witching Season, a wickedly atmospheric celebration of everything we love about Halloween, handed out in fun sized tasty treats as a horror anthology of short films, has just released a new episode entitled They Live Inside Us.
Episode 4 of the series is actually a mini-anthology within itself, as a man spends the night in a notorious haunted house with the hopes of finding inspiration for the scariest screenplay he can possibly write.
Written and directed by series creator Michael Ballif, this fourth and largest episode of The Witching Season is the best and most fully realized yet, taking viewers down a psychological rabbit hole.
Released on YouTube as a free web series, The Witching Season is inspired by classic anthology shows like Tales From The Crypt and The Twilight Zone, delivering originally produced tales of terror, all set during the Halloween season.
Fueled by nostalgia, the series pays special attention to the spirit of Halloween and reminds us of the magic that exists during our favorite time of year.
And in the tradition of all the best anthologies, there’s always a delicious twist to blow your mind and leave you thinking, and wanting more.
