Halloween Horror Comedy ‘Mass Hysteria’ Virtual Premiere Announced

The new independent horror comedy Mass Hysteria, which takes place on Halloween in Salem, Massachusetts, will have its virtual premiere screening on Facebook this Wednesday.

Mass Hysteria is about a group of Salem Witch Trial re-enactors who find themselves the target of a modern day witch hunt after a tourist dies on Halloween night during the reenactment.

Directed by Arielle Cimino and Jeff Ryan, and written by Jonathan T. Coleman, and Christopher O’Connell, the feature film stars Geena Santiago, Jeff Ryan, Scott Swayze, and Alexandra Dietrich.

It was shot entirely on location in Salem.

The official trailer for the film, which you can check out below, looks awesome, promising that “Halloween brings out the crazy in everyone”.

The virtual premiere of Mass Hysteria is happening online on Facebook Live this Wednesday, April 1, streaming at 8:00 p.m. (EST), hosted by Salem Horror Fest. You can join the official Facebook event page here.
