Michael Myers Comes Home to Find ‘Halloween Is Canceled’ in New Short Film

Michael Myers comes home and finds that Halloween is canceled in Haddonfield this year in the new short film parody Halloween is Canceled.

Directed by Andrew Kasch (Tales of Halloween, Never Sleep Again), the three-minute short was shot at the exact same filming locations featured in John Carpenter’s original 1978 Halloween.

In the short, Michael Myers stalks his familiar streets and finds no kids trick or treating and no teenagers partying, but he does encounter a “Karen,” played by Tiffany Shepis (Night of the Demons), who attacks The Shape for wearing a mask, blasting him with ridiculous conspiracy theories about the pandemic.

Soon enough, Michael does what he does best, providing us all with some welcome catharsis.
