Jamie Lee Curtis Wraps Filming on ‘Halloween Ends’

Filming of Halloween Ends continues in Savannah, Georgia, but Jamie Lee Curtis announced on social media this morning that she has officially wrapped shooting her scenes, sharing a farewell message after completing what is likely her final performance as Laurie Strode.

In her post today (2/22/22), Curtis says, “A bittersweet END for me on the Halloween movies. I’ve made great friends and have collaborated with wonderful artists on these three movies and today my part in the film has been completed and with it the END for me of this trilogy. It’s all because of the fans who have always supported me and more importantly, Laurie, and the creative teams at BLUMHOUSE @blumhouse TRANCAS, MIRAMAX @miramax , ROUGHHOUSE @roughhousepictures and UNIVERSAL @universalpictures and my Strode Strong women, Judy @missjudygreer Andi @andimatichak and Kyle @kylerichards18 as well as my nemesis, James @jamesjudecourtney
Here are a few images that will remind me of the wonderful time we all had. I love this crew and cast and I will miss you all.
We can’t wait for the fans to see the movie. You’re going to #LYM @halloweenmovie #wearelauriestrode

The message is accompanied by 10 behind the scenes images, presumably shot by Curtis herself, from her time on the Halloween Ends set, featuring co-stars Kyle Richards and Andi Matichak, director David Gordon Green, and more.

You can see the original post and the photos below.

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to play Laurie Strode once again, along with Andi Matichak as Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson, and Kyle Richards again portraying Lindsey Wallace. Will Patton is believed to be reprising his role as Frank Hawkins, as well, though his involvement in the new film has not yet been confirmed.

James Jude Courtney will once again play The Shape/Michael Myers, with a cameo assist from Nick Castle.

Halloween Ends will arrive in theaters on October 14, 2022.
