Michael Myers is a fictional character created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, originally portrayed by Nick Castle, Tommy Lee Wallace, Tony Moran, Will Sandin, and Debra Hill herself in John Carpenter’s ‘Halloween’, a landmark horror masterpiece. Myers is described as pure evil, with the blackest eyes, after killing his older sister when he was six years old. He escapes the Smith’s Grove Sanitarium 15 years later and returns home to the fictional town of Haddonfield, Illinois to kill again.
In the original film, Myers stalks teenage babysitter Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and Laurie’s friends Annie, played by Nancy Loomis, and Lynda, played by P.J. Soles, while “The Shape” (as he referred to in the script) is hunted by his psychologist Dr. Sam Loomis, played by Donald Pleasence.
